As if

Mattered
Beyond
That
Which one can’t get
Beyond
The throbbing thought
The eclipsed cycle
Of erratic behavior
Like a life less lived
Like a distress signal arching through the longest night of your days
Like a pitiful existence
Explained by no one
Thieving in the throng of subsistence
